The private terminal experience.

From the car at the door to the cabin, this is how a private departure actually unfolds.

What is a private terminal?
A private terminal, or FBO, is a discreet building away from the main concourse, kept for private travel alone. You arrive by car, step into a quiet lounge, and board a short walk or drive across the apron. No public queues, no crowds, only a calm space built around your departure.
How early should I arrive?
Fifteen to thirty minutes before departure is typical. For an international sector we may ask for a little more to complete formalities, yet you will still spend a fraction of the time a commercial terminal demands. We confirm the exact arrival time with your final details.
What happens from car to cabin?
Your car is met at the door, your bags are taken, and you are shown straight into the lounge. Passport and security checks are handled discreetly while you settle, often without leaving your seat. When the aircraft is ready you are walked or driven to the steps and airborne within minutes.
Is there still security and passport control?
Yes, and it is handled properly, simply away from the public eye. Immigration and security are completed at the private terminal by the same authorities, with no lines and no spectacle. The formalities are real, the experience is calm, and nothing is skipped.
Can my car meet me on the ramp?
At many airports, yes. A chauffeured car can draw up beside the aircraft so you step from cabin to seat in moments, and the same on arrival. Where ramp access is restricted, the transfer takes place at the terminal door. We arrange the car and confirm what each airport allows.
What is the lounge like?
Quiet, private, and comfortable, with seating, refreshments, and room to work or rest before you board. Many lounges offer a suite for your party alone. It is a place to pause for a few unhurried minutes, not somewhere to wait.
Can I arrive by helicopter or connecting flight?
Often, yes. Several private terminals sit beside a helipad, and a helicopter can place you planeside in minutes from the city or a yacht. For onward private connections we coordinate the timing so one aircraft is ready as the other arrives.
What about catering and onboard requests?
Catering is whatever you wish, from a light working breakfast to a full table, arranged to your taste and any dietary needs. Tell us your preferences and we handle the rest, along with any special requests for the cabin, so everything is in place before you board.
Can my pet travel with me?
In most cases, yes, and in the cabin beside you. Pets are welcome through the private terminal, and each country sets its own rules on microchips, vaccinations, and paperwork. Share the journey early and we confirm the requirements and handle the documentation for both ends.
How is my luggage handled?
Your bags are taken at the car and loaded directly, then returned within minutes of landing. Capacity follows the aircraft rather than a fixed allowance, so tell us what you are bringing and we size the cabin to suit, including golf clubs, skis, or oversized items.

Questions

What discerning travellers ask

Practical answers about the guides, the airports, and arranging your flight.

What is the Fly with Andreea airport guide?

It is a working reference for private travel, written by people who arrange these flights every day. Each entry sets out what matters before you fly: the airport's IATA and ICAO codes, runway lengths, elevation, opening hours, the private terminal, and the character of the destination. It exists so the only decision left to you is where you would like to go.

Which airports does the guide cover?

The guide is built region by region, beginning with the Gulf. Today you will find the principal airports of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. Further regions are added regularly. If an airport you need is not yet listed, our advisors already hold the detail and are glad to share it.

What does each airport guide include?

Runways and elevation, the IATA and ICAO codes, opening hours and any curfew, the FBO and private terminal, ground handling, and how early to arrive. Each guide also covers the history and standing of the airport and the aircraft best suited to the routes it serves. Numbers are verified, and where an airport keeps its data private we say so plainly.

Do you arrange flights to airports that are not yet in the guide?

Yes. Fly with Andreea charters worldwide, to thousands of airports far beyond the published guides. The directory reflects what is written up so far, not where we can fly. Tell us your destination and we will confirm the right field, the right terminal, and the right aircraft.

What is an FBO, and why does it matter?

An FBO, or fixed base operator, is the private terminal away from the main concourse. It is where you arrive minutes before departure, pass through a calm private lounge, and board directly, with security and immigration handled discreetly. Knowing which FBO serves an airport, and its hours, is often the difference between a seamless departure and a delay.

How early should I arrive before a private flight?

Far less than for a commercial flight. Through a private terminal you typically arrive fifteen to thirty minutes before departure. For international departures the formalities are still completed, simply in a fraction of the time. We confirm the exact timing for each airport when we arrange your flight.

Can you arrange a flight from any airport in the guide?

Yes. Every airport listed is one we can fly from and into, subject to slots, permits, and crew. Open the airport for its full guide, then speak with us and we will shape the routing, aircraft, and schedule around your plans.

How do you choose the right aircraft for my journey?

The ideal aircraft depends on three things: how far you are flying, how many are travelling, and the comfort you want for the time aloft. Light jets suit short regional hops, midsize and super-midsize aircraft handle medium legs with a full cabin, and heavy or ultra-long-range jets fly intercontinental sectors without a fuel stop. We curate the right class for each leg rather than the largest available.

What does a private jet charter cost?

Charter is priced by the trip, shaped by aircraft category, flight time, positioning, airport fees, and crew. As a guide, a short light-jet hop sits in the lower thousands, while ultra-long-range intercontinental flights run well into five and six figures. Every quote is clear and all-in, so the figure you see is the figure you fly on.

Do all airports operate around the clock?

No. Some major hubs run twenty-four hours a day, while others observe a night curfew or restrict movements at certain times. Each guide notes the operating hours and any curfew, and our advisors check both ends of a journey before confirming a departure time.

Can you fly into smaller or remote airports?

Often yes, and that is one of private aviation's quiet advantages. Many smaller fields, closer to your final destination, accept private aircraft where scheduled airlines do not. Where a runway length or handling limit applies, we match the aircraft to the airport so the trip stays comfortable and safe.

How accurate is the information in the guides?

We work from publicly reported airport data and verify figures against more than one source. Operational details such as runway use, slots, and timing can change, so anything time-sensitive is confirmed in writing when we arrange your flight. Where an airport keeps its data private, we note it rather than guess.

Can my pet travel with me?

In most cases, yes, and gladly. Well-behaved pets travel in the cabin beside you rather than in a hold. Each country sets its own rules on vaccinations, microchips, and paperwork, so we confirm the requirements for both ends of the journey in advance and handle the documentation.

How far in advance should I book?

A confirmed aircraft can often be arranged within a few hours when one is positioned nearby, and same-day departures are routinely possible. Booking two to three days ahead gives the widest choice of aircraft and the most competitive pricing. For peak periods and major events, earlier is always better, and we are glad to hold options while your plans firm up.

How do I reach Andreea?

The simplest way is WhatsApp on +971 50 337 2980, or by email at andreea@flywithandreea.com. Share your route, dates, and party size, and we return a clear, tailored quote with the right aircraft and a transparent price.
